The challenge
Repower operates a vast grid of over 6000 pylons in the remote regions of Graubünden. They faced significant challenges with manual grid inspections, which were time-consuming and physically demanding, especially in hard-to-reach areas. With an aging network and a shortage of skilled workers, ensuring safety and grid reliability became increasingly difficult.

The solution
Repower partnered with eSmart Systems to automate their inspection process and digitalize their physical assets. Using drones and AI-powered software, Grid Vision® autonomously analyzed and digitalized high-voltage (HV) assets, providing an objective and standardized conditional assessment.
