eSmart Systems proudly announces the welcome of Shane Fay as VP of Sales and Marketing for North America – a strategic step in eSmart’s growth strategy which includes a focus on North American electric utilities.

Positioned for growth

eSmart's North American growth strategy was developed in collaboration with an Investment of $34.4M USD by innogy Ventures and Energy Impact Partners. This was followed by the hire of Steve Hambric as President of North America operations for eSmart Systems US, Inc. Shane Fay is the newest addition with a history of success building sales teams partnering with US utilities, which will help power eSmart's growth strategy.

A passion for growth

Shane Fay is an experienced sales leader with 20 years of experience in consulting and sales leadership in the energy sector. Shane, who began his career as an energy industry consultant for Accenture, is passionate about driving growth in start-ups like eSmart.

Shane´s eSmart engagement is effective immediately and will include attendance at DistribuTECH in San Antonio, the utility industry’s leading annual transmission and distribution event.
